Our Philosophy

We can train dogs. We can't train commitment.

Every dog is capable of learning.

The question isn't whether your dog can make progress. It's whether you're ready to make the journey with them.

At Curbed Behaviors, we believe successful training is built on partnership. We coach dogs, but we also coach the people who live with them every day. Because lasting results don't come from a single session—they come from understanding, consistency, and a willingness to keep showing up.

That's why every program we offer is designed to give you the knowledge, confidence, and support to continue long after training ends.

What We Believe

What You Can Expect

When you train with Curbed Behaviors, you can expect:

  • Individualized coaching based on your dog's needs and your family's goals.

  • Honest recommendations, even if that means recommending a different program than the one you originally inquired about.

  • Practical training that prepares you for real life.

  • Ongoing guidance and support throughout your program.

  • A trainer who will challenge you, encourage you, and celebrate your progress along the way.

Because our goal isn't simply to help your dog succeed during training.

It's to help you succeed long after it's over.

The Team

We're Terry and Alegandra, the husband-and-wife team behind Curbed Behaviors. We don't believe dog training is something that's done to your dog—we believe it's something you learn with your dog. Our responsibility is to provide the knowledge, coaching, and support. Your responsibility is to apply it. That's how lasting change happens.

Ready to Get Started?

If you're looking for someone to simply train your dog, we may not be the right fit.

If you're ready to learn alongside your dog and invest in a relationship that lasts, we'd love to help.
